The definition and classification of splint
Definition: Plywood is a thin sheet of three or more layers of wood cut into veneer or wood square planing, and then glued with adhesive.
Classification: According to the number of different layers, plywood can be divided into three plywood, plywood, seven plywood and other odd layers of plywood. From the structural point of view, the outermost board of the splint is called the table board, the front board is called the panel, the back board is called the backplane, and the single plate of the inner layer is called the core board or the middle board.
The characteristics and advantages of the splint
Features: The splint has the characteristics of not easy deformation, large format, convenient construction, strong tensile ability and so on.
Advantages: Because of these characteristics, plywood is widely used in furniture making, house decoration, building plates, ships, carriages, military, packaging and other light industry.
The production process of plywood
The production process of splint mainly includes material preparation, trimming, gluing, pressing and trimming:
Material preparation: Choose natural wood or artificial plate as raw material, and prepare a glue with good water resistance and stable viscosity.
Trimming: According to the production requirements and specifications, the raw materials are cut to the required size, and the fine trimming is carried out to make the surface of the plate smooth and the corners neat.
Gluing: Place the cut wood flat on the gluing machine and evenly apply glue.
Pressing: The coated wood plate is placed on the pressing machine, and the plate is tightly bonded together by heating and pressurizing.
Trimming: Trim the pressed splint, trim the excess corners, so that the size and appearance of the splint meet the requirements.
The application field of splint
Furniture production: Plywood is one of the most commonly used materials for hand-made furniture.
House decoration: In house decoration, plywood is often used for ceiling, partition, wall decoration and so on.
Building board: In the field of construction, plywood can be used for floors, wall panels, ceilings and so on.
Other fields: In addition, plywood is also widely used in ships, carriages, military, packaging and other light industry.
Splint fixed materials
The materials often used for splint fixing include fir bark, willow board, bamboo board, thick cardboard, plywood, metal aluminum board, plastic board, etc. These materials have the characteristics of plasticity, toughness, elasticity, etc., and can be shaped according to the shape of each part of the limb to adapt to the requirements of the physiological curvature of the limb, and play a continuous fixed and reset role.
